Which benefits qualify for a free loft insulation grant?
In order to qualify for the UK government free loft insulation grant only those in receipt of certain benefits will fit the criteria to claim free insulation grants 2022.
The applicant’s property will have no loft insulation or very low level of it. This allows us to determine how energy efficient the property is using what's known as a Deemed Score calculator. This also determines whether a contribution would be required to proceed with the installation.
You should be a homeowner occupying the property that is on a qualifying benefit below. You may also be a landlord with a qualifying tenant, or a qualifying tenant with your landlord's permission.
